At home in Bruges in a 17th century historic building
Hotel Salvators ***
Across from our two B&B’s lies the Hotel Salvators which we bought at the beginning of 2015. It has 8 rooms with a lot of character. It’s also a historic gable topped building, the most common architecture in Bruges during the 17th and 18th century. There is a very cosy bar and lounge. All rooms are named after famous Belgian beers which you can all try out at the bar. The prices are very moderate for the location in case our B&B’s are too heavy on your budget. Adjacent to our guesthouse 1669 lies our recently (2014) opened B&B Saint-Sauveur Bruges. Very much like 1669 this house was renovated with natural products. The splendour of high ceilings and large dimensions of the rooms will give you an authentic feel of the past. The guests of both 1669 and Saint-Sauveur Bruges have access to our beautiful lounge with historic fire place and our patio.
Every room is equipped with a SONOS music system and Ipad mini. We have installed an elevator for the less mobile or the heavy luggage. Please click on the link below if you want to visit our website.
From 08:30 to 10:30 you can enjoy our buffet breakfast in our breakfast room.
It includes the following : freshly squeezed orange juice, espresso coffee, croissants and "chocolatines", 3 choices of bread, yogurt, ham, cheese, cereal, fruit, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, bacon, fried cherry tomatoes, choices of jam, honey , chocolade spread.
If you have special needs please let us know the day before.
In case every room wants to have breakfast at the same time (rarely happens) you can also have your breakfast in our adjacent B&B Saint Sauveur Bruges where there is a lot more room. Your badge gives you access to the ground floor of that B&B
How to get to our hotel : By Car : Follow the city center sign on the Albert I laan until you pass the modern red-tiled Concert building on your right. A little bit further you will see the Saint-Saviours' cathedral. The hotel is located at the foot of the cathedral in the very heart of medieval Bruges. By Train; Take the train to the "Brugge " stop. A 10 minute walk will bring you to the hotel. Take the direction of the cathedral (4 little towers). We are right beside it. A cab should cost no more then 8 euro from the station.
Parking in Bruges' City Center :
Nearby at only 150 m is a public underground public parking garage, called "Zilverpand", which is very secure and only costs 14,4 € per 24 h. Under the concert building there s a similar parking, called "t' Zand" with the same conditions. Next to the railway station there's a parking with an even more economic rate of 5,5 € per 24 h. Your parking ticket will also serve as a bus pass on the same day. In case you need to buy a bus pass it will cost you 3,5 € pp.
We suggest that you come to the reception first and we will gladly explain all the options to you.

In 2003 we ceased the opportunity to buy a totally run down and virtually abandoned house at the foot of the Saint-Saviour's cathedral. About a year later it was ready for my family to move into the private section in the back. By the Christmas vacation in 2005 we were ready to welcome our first guests. We have four spacious rooms for you to choose from which we renovated and decorated with an ecological mind set. We have combined the “old” with the newest technology to create a warm atmosphere with total comfort. The walls are a combination of lime and chalk while the floors have been treated with natural oils. An integrated music system is at your disposal. Free Individual wireless internet is provided per room.
In the summer of 2013 we moved to Canada with our five children. Fortunately we have friends of ours, Karine Lambin and Jessy Deleville, managing our B&B's and other properties with the same dedication as you would expect from the owners. They will do their utmost to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
